Example Templates

Ready-to-import CSV files for common checklist use cases. Download any template and import it directly into List Log to get started immediately.

Importing a template requires full access if you already have a checklist in the app. You can customise any template after importing — add, remove, or reorder groups and items to fit your specific needs.

How to import a template

  1. Download the CSV file to your iPhone (tap the download button below, then save to Files).
  2. Open List Log and tap the + icon on the Checklists screen.
  3. Tap Import Checklist from the menu.
  4. Navigate to the saved CSV file and select it.
  5. List Log validates the file and creates the checklist if everything is correct.

Starter Template

A starter checklist demonstrating one example of every item type List Log supports — Checkbox, Yes/No/N/A, Number, Short Text, Long Text, Date, Date & Time, URL, Photo, PDF, and List of Values. This is the same format exported by the app's built-in Export Starter Template feature. Use it as a reference when building your own templates from scratch.

John Deere Annual Maintenance

Annual maintenance checklist for the John Deere X300 Series lawn tractor — perform annually or every 100 hours. Covers reference materials (online manual, how-to video, and John Deere Store parts links), tools and supplies, and a comprehensive service task list including oil change, spark plugs, air and fuel filter, blades, deck, belts, tire pressure, and lubrication points. Records engine hours, service date, and technician notes.

Weekly Safety Inspection

Workplace safety walk covering PPE checks, safety-critical equipment verification, environmental readings, and photo documentation. Includes Reference URL items linking to workplace safety policy and equipment maintenance schedule.

Boat Log

Single engine vessel log for recording trip, fuel, maintenance, and trailer events. Each run captures one event. Vessel information (name, registration number, engine make/model) is set once as Reference items and displayed on every run. Event Type uses a List of Values (Trip / Fuel / Maintenance / Trailer / Other) with engine hours, fuel added, and a free-text description field to capture the detail of each event.

Herbicide Application

Lawn herbicide application record. PPE group confirms vinyl/nitrile gloves, glasses, and chemical respirator before application. Weather group logs temperature and sky condition (List of Values) at time of application. Application group records the herbicide product used (List of Values), application rate, start and end date & time, total gallons applied, and the area treated.
