Llanwit Creations LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the List Log iOS application (the "App"). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. The App is designed to minimize data collection and keep your information under your control.
Information we collect
The App does not collect or transmit personal information to us except in the limited cases described below. We do not know who uses the App on an individual basis beyond voluntary support contact, and we do not maintain any servers that store your templates, log entries, or other user-generated content.
User content you create: templates, groups, items, log entries, and attached photos or PDFs. Stored locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud under your own Apple ID. Apple's iCloud privacy practices govern synced data — see apple.com/legal/privacy.
Device and usage data: crash reports and diagnostics collected only through Apple's own built-in systems, and only if you have diagnostic sharing enabled. We do not use any third-party analytics or crash-reporting service.
Support communications: if you submit a support request, we receive your email address and message content, and this is handled through two separate Google services, each retained differently:
Your original form submission is stored by Google Forms. Unlike our email correspondence (below), this submission is not covered by any automatic deletion — we manually review it, extract a de-identified summary of the feedback (with your email address and any personally identifying details removed), and then delete the identifiable submission by hand. This manual step is completed within 30 days of resolving your inquiry.
Any follow-up correspondence we send or receive is exchanged via our support email account, hosted on Google Workspace, and is automatically and permanently deleted no later than 30 days after it's sent or received, under an organization-wide email retention policy — not a manual process.
In both cases, Google processes this information on our behalf, subject to Google's own privacy policy. The de-identified summary extracted from either source cannot be used to identify you and may be retained separately, for longer, to help us understand trends and prioritize future development.
No tracking or identifiers: the App does not collect personal identifiers, usage analytics tied to individuals, location data, health data, or financial information.
How we use your information
To provide, maintain, and improve the App.
To respond to your support requests.
To generate exports (PDF/CSV), created entirely on your device.
We do not use your checklist content for marketing, advertising, or any purpose other than providing the App's core functionality.
Sharing and disclosure
Apple iCloud: synced data is handled by Apple under their own privacy policy. We have no separate servers and no independent access to your synced content.
Google (support requests and correspondence only): if you submit a support request, the email address and message content you provide is received and stored by Google Forms, and any follow-up correspondence is exchanged through our Google Workspace email account. Google is the only third-party service that processes any personal information in connection with the App — we do not use any third-party analytics platforms, crash-reporting tools, or advertising vendors.
Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal process.
Business transfers: in the event of a merger or acquisition, information we hold may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not
Sell your personal information or checklist content to third parties.
Share your content with advertisers.
Run targeted ads based on your logs or templates.
Use any third-party analytics or tracking tools. (Google Forms is used solely to receive optional support requests — see Sharing and disclosure above.)
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, relying on local device storage and Apple's secure iCloud infrastructure. We recommend using a strong device passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, and keeping iOS up to date.
Your rights and choices
Access, correction, deletion: you control your data directly on your device. You can delete logs or templates locally, or manage iCloud data through Apple's settings.
Opt-outs: you can disable iCloud syncing or diagnostic sharing at any time in your device settings.
California / CCPA rights: California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. Exercise these rights via the support form.
GDPR / international users: if you are in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, you may have additional rights including access, rectification, erasure, and objection. Exercise these rights via the support form.
Because we do not collect or store identifiable user data on our own servers beyond support correspondence, exercising these rights primarily involves managing your device and iCloud data directly through Apple's settings.
Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it.
Health information
List Log is not designed or intended for use in creating, storing, or transmitting protected health information (PHI). If you choose to record health-related information using the App's general-purpose fields, you do so outside the scope of any healthcare-specific protections.
Data retention
Identifiable support data is deleted through two different mechanisms, depending on where it lives:
Your original Google Form submission (including your email address) is deleted by us manually, within 30 days of resolving your inquiry — Google Forms has no automatic deletion of its own, so this depends on us actively reviewing and removing it.
Follow-up email correspondence hosted on Google Workspace is deleted automatically and permanently no later than 30 days after it's sent or received, enforced by an organization-wide retention policy rather than manual action.
Before either deletion occurs, we may separately extract a de-identified summary of the underlying feedback (with your email address and any personally identifying details removed) and retain that summary for longer, to help us spot trends and prioritize future development; it cannot be used to identify you. User content you create in the App remains under your control on your device and in your iCloud account at all times.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any revised version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify you within the App where required by law.
